Call it by name
It listens for its name and answers out loud. Hands busy, across the room — just call.
Sim Sim talks back, remembers your life, checks its facts, and follows through — like a real assistant, comfy as home.

Your notebook: your name, your people, your deadlines. It answers according to YOUR life, not the internet's guess.
For facts that matter, Sim Sim opens the book and shows its source. No source? It says so — it never bluffs.
Every task is tracked until YOU say it's done, and your morning briefing has it all waiting for you.
Pick your colors, name your two helper bots. Your team, your colors, your vibe.
Study & knowledge · Daily life · Work & creating · Your connected apps · Voice & memory — one assistant that does all of it together; you just talk.
Your notebook is yours. See everything Sim Sim remembers, edit it, delete it — anytime. We ask little, we show you all of it.
Talk or type below to start.
Nothing yet — tell me something worth remembering.
Listening works while Sim Sim is open in Chrome.
Sim Sim hears you through Chrome's built-in voice typing. To turn your voice into words, Chrome sends it to Google's speech service — that's how the free built-in tool works, and it happens whether or not you say the name. Words without your assistant's name never reach Sim Sim's server or its brain, and Sim Sim never saves them — but they do pass through Google first. Want the mic off except when you choose? Turn Listening off and type instead — or use push-to-talk, where the mic only runs while you hold the button (it uses the same Google service while it runs).
What Sim Sim may do in the app when you ask it. Allow: it just does it. Ask me: a card pops up in the chat first. Never: it won't, and tells you why.
Saved logins are part of this: Sim Sim doesn't use them today, and using one is on the always-asks list, so it will ask every time.

Stored encrypted on the Sim Sim server. Sim Sim never reads these to answer you, never puts them in your notebook, and doesn't sign in for you.
Call Sim Sim by name. Keep Sim Sim open in Chrome with Listening ON. Say "Sim Sim", then ask — you'll hear a chime, or see "I'm here" when Speak answers is off. You can also press the orange mic, or just type.
Your notebook. Sim Sim writes down what you tell it about your life — and the things you have to do, in Open loops — so it remembers next time. You can see, edit and delete everything it remembers in your Profile (click your name) or here under Data controls.
Where things are. Settings is the gear at the bottom of the sidebar. Your basics and memory are in your Profile. Your own separate chats are under Side chats, below Chat.

Sim Sim is an early prototype, built by Hassan Ali for the Meta AI developer hackathon. It can be wrong.
For anything that matters — law, money, health, deadlines — check the official source. Sim Sim shows its source for precise answers, and says so when it has none.
Sim Sim is not for emergencies, and it is not a lawyer, doctor or financial adviser. Use it for your own personal, lawful use.
What is stored, and where. Your profile, your notebook (what Sim Sim learned about you), open loops, settings, chat history, morning briefing, Discussion picks, pictures you asked Sim Sim to draw, the face you chose for Sim Sim (a picture you upload as its face is saved so it can be shown), and saved logins. All of it is stored on this Sim Sim server, kept separately for each account. Pictures you show Sim Sim in chat and screen snapshots are not saved.
The brain. Sim Sim's thinking is done by Meta's Model API. To answer, draw pictures and find official web pages, Sim Sim sends your message, and the parts of your notebook it needs, to Meta.
Listening. Chrome's built-in speech recognition handles the mic first: Chrome sends what the mic hears to Google's speech service to turn it into words. Words without your assistant's name never reach Sim Sim's server or its brain.
Sign-in uses Google Firebase, which sees your email address.
Saved logins are encrypted on the server. They are never sent to the brain, never go into your notebook, and are not in your data download.
Nothing is sold. There are no ads.
Your control. Download all your data, or erase it with Forget everything, under Data controls. Saved logins are deleted one by one under Saved logins.
Your picks teach your team your taste. They're saved privately — just yours, never shared.
Preparing today's briefing…
Sim Sim browses in its own browser, inside Sim Sim — this panel is its screen. It never uses your Chrome. For now it can only look and read: no clicking, typing or downloads.
The browser isn't open yet. Ask Sim Sim to look something up, or open a page here.
Pictures Sim Sim made or edited for you, newest first. Pictures you share in chat aren't saved, so they aren't here.
No pictures yet. Ask Sim Sim to make one — like "make a picture of a husky in the snow".
Nothing open. When you tell me something you have to do, I'll keep it here until you say it's done.
A reminder shows at the top of your chat when it's due — while Sim Sim is open on this computer. It can't reach your phone when the app is closed.
No reminders. Say "remind me in 20 minutes to stretch" or "remind me at 7 pm to call the store".
Sim Sim can see your screen, but it can't click or type — you stay the hands.
Keep this tab open while I watch — closing Chrome ends the watch.
Press the mic to talk. Chrome sends what the mic hears to Google to turn it into text.
